Cooking

Description

• The Cooking skill allows players to cook meats into consumable foods and craft other items such as dyes, ovens, and plant growing enhancements. Cooking requires use of a skillet and a nearby heat source. Consuming cooked food can provide instant stat restoration as well as passive mana regeneration and swing speed bonuses.

Summary

• Players can cook food and create various other items using a skillet purchased from an NPC or crafted by players and having a heat source such as a stove, or campfire.
• Exceptionally crafted skillets have 200 uses
• By eating higher quality foods, players can increase their Passive Mana Regeneration and Swing Speed Bonus (but only for PvM, it does NOT affect PvP)

Normal Player Passive Regeneration is:

PvM Bonuses

• Players who eat food will receive a Food Satisfaction effect that lasts for the next 60 minutes
• Players will only be able to consume a Food item up to once every 60 seconds
• Food Satisfaction provides a chance whenever a player passively generates mana to generate additional mana
• Food Satisfaction comes in 6 levels (Measly, Paltry, Meager, Adequate, Appetizing, and Delectable)
• Store-bought food or Create Food summoned will always be at Measly level while crafted foods range from Paltry to Delectable
• Players will not receive any Food Satisfaction bonuses if they have been in PvP within the last 2 minutes (but will receive bonuses again after PvP expires)

PvP Bonuses

• The base bonuses to Swing Speed and Mana Regen Chances from Food Satisfaction will apply while a player is PvP Flagged, however the skill-based bonuses from Taste ID or Cooking will not apply while to a player while PvP Flagged

Food Satisfaction

• Players can eat food every 60 seconds and upgrade their Food Satisfaction to a higher bonus type
• Satisfaction Bonuses received from Food will now use whichever skill is higher between a player's Cooking skill or Taste Identification skill
  • The Add. Bonus is not active while PvP Flagged

Mana Regen

• Food Satisfaction bonus is calculated by the Highest Skill between Taste Identification and Cooking.

• If the player is actively Meditating, the chance is reduced to 50% of normal

Swing Speed Bonus

• Food Satisfaction bonus is calculated by the Highest Skill between Taste Identification and Cooking. Note that this only applies to the eater of food who has these skills, not food made for another character by a character with these skills.

Restoration Effect (i.e. Snacking)

Consuming a Food item will immediately provide the following (in addition to normal Satisfaction buffs):

• Restore (30 * Food Multiplier * (Cooking Skill / 100%)) points of Hit Points
• Restore (20 * Food Multiplier * (Cooking Skill / 100%)) points of Mana
• Restore ((25 * Food Multiplier) + (25 * Food Multiplier * (Cooking Skill / 100%))) points of Stamina

Food Restoration Multipliers for different Food are as follows:

• Measly Food: 1.0x
• Paltry Food: 1.1x
• Meagre Food: 1.2x
• Adequate Food: 1.3x
• Appetizing Food: 1.4x
• Delectable Food: 1.5x

PvP

Restoration Amounts from consuming Food items while being Flagged in PvP are reduced to 50% of normal
