Description
- The Meditation skill dramatically increases the rate at which a player regenerates Mana, both passively and actively. While players always passively regenerate Mana, players can activate the Meditation skill to enter an 'active' meditative state, which doubles their rate of mana regeneration. Any movement, action, or damage taken will break the meditation state. Wearing heavier armor types, such as Chainmail or Platemail, will significantly reduce the regeneration rate of Mana.
Summary
- The baseline Mana Regen rate is 1 mana restored every 2 seconds (i.e., 0.5 mana per second).
- The maximum Mana Regen rate is 1 mana restored every 0.5 seconds (i.e., 2 mana per second).
- The minimum Mana Regen rate is 1 mana restored every 8 seconds (i.e., 0.125 mana per second).
- Players who use the Meditation skill will always enter a Meditative state (regardless of skill level) that doubles their current Mana Regen rate
- The Mana Regen rate is increased by (100% * (Meditation skill / 100))
- The Mana Regen rate is increased by 100% if the player is actively meditating
- The Mana Regen rate is penalized by the player's armor:
- The Mana Regen rate is penalized by (2 * (player's Total Armor Meditation Penalty))
- A player's Total Armor Meditation Penalty is equal to the combined Meditation Penalties of all armor worn
- Each piece of armor a player wears has an Meditation Penalty equal to it's (Armor Location Penalty * Armor Material Penalty)
- The Mana Regen rate is adjusted with Meditation rate Mastery Chain links
- Example: If the player's Mana Regen rate is 1 mana every 1.0 seconds, having a 10% increase would boost it to 1 mana every 0.9 seconds.

Example
A player wearing a suit of all studded leather but with a platemail gorget would have:
(.35 * .20) + (.22 * .20) + (.15 * .20) + (.14 * .20) + (.07 * .20) + (.07 * 1.0)) = 25.6% Total Armor Meditation Penalty.
Which would result in a (2 * 25.6%) = -51.2% effect on their Mana Regen rate.
