Summary

  • Players can craft a Tome of Heroism with the Inscription skill
  • Tomes of Heroism are Blessed items that players place Tokens of Heroism into, in order to complete a collection of Mini-Boss and Boss kills
    • Single-clicking a Tome of Heroism will show how many total tokens have been added to the Tome
    • Double-clicking a Tome of Heroism will bring up the Tome's menu which shows a listing for each dungeon Boss and Mini-Boss that exists in game
    • Players that complete a Tome of Heroism receive 4 Mastery Chain Links into their backpack
  • When a guild summons an Ocean Mini-Boss or Ocean Boss, they will immediately be given the coordinates of the Spawn Location for that boss, but the boss itself will not appear for 5 minutes (giving the guild time to reach the spawn location)

Token of Heroism

  • When a Boss is killed, one random player who dealt damage to the boss will receive a Token of Heroism of that specific Boss placed into their backpack
  • When a Mini-Boss is killed, there is a 50% chance that one random player who dealt damage to the Mini-Boss (chance is scaled based on damage dealt by the player) will receive a Token of Heroism of that specific Mini-Boss placed into their backpack
    • Chance to receive a Token is scaled based on damage dealt by the player
  • Any player who earns a Token of Heroism or Mastery Chain Link will now automatically have looting rights to that creature (regardless of total damage % dealt)
  • Players can add a Token of Heroism into a Tome of Heroism by double-clicking the Token and targeting the Tome
  • When a Mini-Boss or Boss has its Token added to a Tome of Heroism, its icon becomes visible and its listing turns white with a bloody mark
  • When a player successfully adds a Token for every Mini-Boss and Boss to a tome, they receive 4 Mastery Chain Links in their backpack and gain the ability to "summon the Omniboss"
  • A player can use the add token of heroism button to click and target tokens of heroism in their backpack.

Omni Boss Loot Bonus

  • The Tome of Heroism menu now has an "Increase Loot Bonus" button that players can click and target a Token of Heroism in their backpack, which will be consumed and increase the Loot Bonus of the Omni Boss
  • Consuming a Token of Heroism for a Mini-Boss Creature (such as Lodestone) will increase the Loot Bonus for the Omni Boss by 2.5%
  • Consuming a Token of Heroism for a Boss Creature (such as Infernus) will increase the Loot Bonus for the Omni Boss by 5.0%
  • Players can reach a max Loot Bonus of 50% for an Omni Boss
  • Players can use tokens of the same creature type multiple times to increase the Loot Bonus on an Omni Boss
  • Players can use any creature token type for this mechanic including those not required for Summoning the Omni Boss, such as those for Shadowspire Cathedral
  • Players cannot increase the Loot Bonus for an Omni Boss that has already been summoned
  • The Loot Bonus value for an Omni Boss will increase the flat amount of Gold dropped by the creature by that % amount, and will adjust the Per-Player (*Increases in Size* mechanic) chances to receive additional Special / Rare loot drops by that % value of normal
