Column Header Key

Propose that a section of text is added at the end of the page which describes the meaning of each column header, and any relevant mechanical details that are known. For instance:

Column Definitions

  • Slayer: Determines which weapon slayer and bard enticement groups affect this monster.
  • Difficulty: An estimation of the creature's difficulty. This is calculated via a hidden formula based on the creature's stats and Unique Scalar value. This value directly influences the Gold Value.
  • Gold Value: Baseline gold value for determining how much gold is dropped, rare/special loot drop chance, and experience gained for defeating.
  • Hits: The creature's hit point pool.
  • Melee Damage: How much this creature can hit for.
  • Armor: How much this creature reduces physical damage dealt to it.
  • Attack Speed: How fast this creature swings.
  • Spell Damage: ??How much damage spell casts will do??
  • Poison: If this creature inflicts poison, this displays the type.
  • Poison Resist: ??Chance to ignore poison application??
  • Stealth: If this creature can use stealth, this displays an X.
  • AI: How this creature's behavior is handled.
  • Speed: ??How fast the creature can move??
  • Unique Scalar: A hand-picked number that is used in the Difficulty formula to account for anything that stats and skills don't capture, such as special mechanics or abilities. This value is already factored into the difficulty value as shown here.

The following are skills, the value in the column represents how proficient the creature is in that skill:

  • Wrestling: Determines if attacks hit the creature, and if spell casting is interrupted
  • Magic Resist: Reduces magic damage dealt to the creature
  • Parry: Provides a chance to reduce or negate damage
  • Magery: Spell casting ability
  • Poisoning: Ability to inflict poison
