Artisan Aspect Experience

  • Players can now earn Artisan Aspect experience from crafting while they are wearing Artisan Aspect equipment, provided they have sufficient Arcane Essence
  • When a player gains Artisan Aspect experience from crafting, they will lose some Arcane Essence similar to fighting while wearing aspect gear
  • Players will see overhead XP text when crafting an item that provides experience similar to killing a creature while wearing aspect gear
  • Almost all items can generate experience via crafting, however some large-scale items (such as Ship Deeds or Storage Shelves) will not generate experience
  • Any item types that have the potential to show up as a Society Crafting Jobs are considered valid items for experience gain for Artisan Aspect
  • Players can elect to turn off/turn on Artisan Aspect Experience by typing [Artisan or selecting the Artisan command entry from the Paperdoll -> Help -> Commands -> Mechanics tab
  • Players already at the Max Aspect Tier Level for Artisan Aspect will not consume Arcane Essence when crafting (since they cannot gain further experience)

Artisan Aspect Armor

  • Armor Rating (0% + 8% per Artisan Tier Level)
  • Crafting skill equipment bonuses (such as Blacksmithing skill increasing Weapon damage and AR or Tailoring's damage reflect mechanic) are increased by (25% + (7.5% * Tier Level))
  • Using a Blacksmithing, Tailoring, or Carpentry Repair Kit on a player (including yourself) will provide that player a Melee Damage bonus of (5% + (1.5% * Tier Level)) for the next 20 minutes (bonus only applies while the player is within 25 tiles of the Artisan Armor wearer)
  • Increases the chance to create Exceptional equipment by (5% + (1.5% * Tier Level)) of normal (i.e 20% bonus to 50% normal chance = 60% exceptional chance)


Artisan Aspect Weapon

  • Accuracy Bonus: 2% per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Tactics Bonus: 0 + 2 per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Special Effect Chance (scaled for weapon speed): 0.5% + 0.05% per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Special Effect - Fortify: Grants a damage bonus of (10% + (1% * Tier Level)) and a damage resistance bonus of (10% + (1% * Tier Level)) to all friendly players within a 12 tile radius for 120 seconds (may not stack multiple times)


Artisan Aspect Spellbook

  • Mana Refund Chance: 0% + 1.5% per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Damage Bonus: 0% + 1.5% per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Special Effect Chance (scales based on spell circle): 5% + 0.5% per player Artisan Tier Level
  • Special Effect - Fortify: Grants a damage bonus of (10% + (1% * Tier Level)) and a damage resistance bonus of (10% + (1% * Tier Level)) to all friendly players within a 12 tile radius for 120 seconds (may not stack multiple times)
