Summary

  • Players are now able to undertake a Brewing process to create consumable items
  • Brewing is currently limited to "Cleansing Brew (x10)" but will later be expanded to more craftable items

Using Cleansing Brew

  • Cleansing Brew is consumed on double-click
  • Reduces all Bleed and Disease effects currently on the player by 75%
  • 2 minute cooldown between uses

Hops and Barley

  • In order create Cleansing Brew (x10), players must first grow Hops Seed into Hops and Barley Seed into Barley
  • Players can find Hops Seed and Barley Seed as loot while doing Resource Maps (Ore Map, Lumber Map, Skinning Map, and Fishing Map) as well as loot in Trade Caravans
  • Players can place Hops Seed and Barley Seed into any type of Plant Bowl and grow them like normal Plants
  • When fully grown, players will extract Hops and Barley from the Plant Bowl from their respective plants

Brewing Kettle

  • Players will next need access to a Brewing Kettle, which can be crafted using Blacksmithing
  • Brewing Kettle must be locked down in a house in order to be used
  • Players can double-click a Brewing Kettle to bring up the Brewing Kettle Menu
  • At the top of the Brewing Kettle Menu shows the current recipe being worked on (which currently can only be 10 Cleansing Brew, but later will be expanded)
  • The rest of the menu shows the remaining steps the players has left in the recipe for the Kettle
  • If the current step requires player interaction, a Blue Button will appear which when clicked will allow the player to take the neccessary step requested (which in most cases will be adding an ingredient from their backpack)
  • When the player reaches the "Transfer Mixture to Brewing Cask" stage, they will need a "Brewing Cask" locked down in their house within 4 tiles of the Brewing Kettle

Brewing Cask

  • Players can craft Brewing Casks with the Carpentry skill
  • Brewing Casks must be locked down in a house in order to be used
  • Brewing Casks should ideally be within 4 tiles of a Brewing Kettle, as many recipes will require players to "Transfer a Mixture" stored in a Brewing Kettle over to a Brewing Cask within 4 tiles
  • Players can double-click a Brewing Cask to bring up the Brewing Cask Menu
  • The Brewing Cask Menu functions similarly to the Brewing Kettle menu, with the current recipe listed at the top, remaining stages listed below, and Blue Buttons appearing for any player required interactions
  • When the player reaches the "Collect Items" step, they have completed the recipe and will be able to collect their item(s)
