Client Options

Outlands' Customized ClassicUO client has many options to improve and customize players' experiences, a list and description of each setting can be found below.

The options menu can be accessed via the Options button in the paperdoll, or by using the default hotkey Ctrl + O.

General

Highlight game objects

Highlights the object that the curser is currently hovering over purple.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Always Run

Toggles whether or not a character runs when the curser is held closer to the character.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Unless Hidden

Toggles whether the character will always run if hidden

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Auto Open Doors

Toggles whether doors are automatically opened when the character touches them or not, when off the player is required to double-click doors to open them

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Smooth Doors?

???

  • Type: Checkbox

Unless Hidden

Toggles whether doors will automatically open while the player is hidden.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: Off

No color for object out of range?

Objects outside of the players render/draw distance (18 tiles) will render in greyscale.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: Off

Hold down left mouse button to grab healthbars/items

Toggles whether health bars and items will be grabbed if the curser hovers over them while left-click is held, also called "Sallos Easy Grab".

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Movement

Prevent movement through certain mobiles with <100% stam

This option prevents rubberbanding, but can sometimes block you from walking through mobs even though you could. If walking through mobs whenever possible is important to you, uncheck this option.

Tip: You can create a macro to toggle this option.

Toggles whether or not the player can attempt to walk over a mobile while below max stamina, which would cause them to "rubberband". This setting currently also prevents the player from walking through mobiles they normally could in stamina-requirement free zones'

Corpses

Auto Open Corpses

Toggles whether the client will attempt to open nearby corpses.

  • Type: Checkbox

Corpse Open Range

The distance, in tiles, that the client will attempt to open corpses in.

  • Type: Positive Integer
  • Default: 2

Corpse Open Conditions

The conditions in which the client will not try to automatically open corpses in, since opening corpses will cancel any targeting reticles or break invisibility/being hidden.

Ignore innocent (blue) corpses

Toggles whether or not the client will attempt to open innocent notoriety corpses.

  • Type: Checkbox

Grid Loot

Corpse Gump Mode

Allows players to select which corpse looting gump(s) are visible when a corpse is opened.

Use Outlands theming for Grid Loot

Toggles between Outlands' Grid Loot menu theme and the basic theme.

Auto close Grid Loot when no items

Automatically closes Grid Loot when the corpse no longer has items on it.

Miscellaneous

Query before attempting to loot an innocent (blue) corpse

Toggles whether or not the client will bring up a confirmation prompt before the player can loot an innocent notoriety corpse.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: Off

Color corpse gump by notoriety?

Toggles whether the corpse gump/Grid Loot menu matches the color of it's corpse's notoriety.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Show incoming new corpses?

Toggles whether the name/label of corpses pops up when it renders onto a player's screen.

  • Type: Checkbox
  • Default: On

Mobiles

Show HP

Toggles if a mobile's hit points are displayed on each mobile's sprite.

  • Type: Checkbox

Type

Allows a player to select which types of visual display are shown, Line being displayed under a mobile and Percentage above each mobile.
