Summary
This page talks about the advanced mechanics of swing speed.
- Swing speed refers to how quickly a character can perform attacks with their equipped weapon.
- It is crucial for dexxer templates to increase their swing speed in order to increase their DPS.
- The swing speed of a character is measured by their swing delay. Lower swing delay means attacking faster.
- Swing delay is decreased by acquiring more swing speed increase, also known as swing speed bonus or SSI.
- Swing delay is capped at 0.5 for any given weapon, which is 2 attacks per second.
Swing speed increase is capped at 50%, which can be increased by 10% with Redline for a total of 60%.
Weapon Base Swing Speed
- Each different type of weapon has a base swing speed which can be found in the chart below under the column "Sec/Swing"
- Some weapons can reach the 0.5 swing delay cap, whereas others cannot reach this cap even with 60% swing speed increase.
