* Camping is a good skill in the beginning for raising all of stats (Str, Dex, Int) in the newbie dungeon on Shelter Island. Note that the camping skill must be set to UP (to gain skill) for you to gain stats, but it need not gain skill. You could, for example, be at the skill cap of 700 and have all other skills locked and still gain stats from camping. You not only get a chance when you start the fire, but gain continuously standing next to it for the full 10 minutes.

Summary

  • In order start a campfire a player must use a piece of kindling
