  • Mushroom Spores are an event item that started spawning during the month of October
  • There are 15 different "species" of mushrooms, and 70 different individual item variations
  • Mushroom Spores can be grown all year long, but will only drop as loot during the month of October
  • The Mushrooms that are produced are decorations only, they are not edible or serve any other purpose
  • Mushroom Spores are not blessed or bound and can be stolen
  • Mushroom Spores from 2022 will only grow into mushrooms from 2022

Finding a Mushroom Spore

  • The event is active from Saturday, October 1st at 11:00AM ET to Monday, October 31st at 11:59PM ET
  • Most gold-producing gameplay systems (such as Monsters, Dungeon Chests, Treasure Chests, NPC Ships, MIBs, etc) have a chance to drop Mushroom Spores
  • Mushroom Spores themselves are very rare drops
  • Slaying monsters within Undermountain has a higher chance of dropping Mushroom Spores
  • Mushroom Spores are automatically placed into the player's backpack if found


Growing a Mushroom Spore

  • Players can use the Plant Growing System to grow the Mushroom Spores
  • Each Mushroom type in the Plants System has slightly different growing values based on their theme
  • The shrooms are not light sources and do not glow
  • Mushroom Spores can be grown all year long, but will only drop as loot during the month of October

  • Mushroom Spores from 2022 will only grow into mushrooms from 2022
  • Mushroom Spores from 2023 can grow into mushrooms from 2022 and 2023
