Summary
- Outlands offers unparalleled flexibility in character creation, allowing players to build unique templates tailored to their playstyle.
- Whether you prefer mastering the arcane arts, wielding steel in melee combat, striking from the shadows, or taming animals to do your bidding, the shard supports a wide range of viable builds.
- With a skill-based system untethered from rigid class structures, players can mix and match abilities to create hybrid roles, where no choice you make is set in stone, and can be changed as easily as raising one skill, and lowering another when at your skill cap.
Warning: We strongly recommend creating all of your PvM characters on the same account!
This is because Mastery Chain experience (the main long term progression system on Outlands) is account bound and spreading it out over multiple accounts will slow down your progression significantly.
New Players training to Leaving Shelter Island Templates
- The below templates are a collection of premade templates you can choose to start with when you first step on Shelter Island.
- They are recommended as a guide and quick path to starting your adventure, however you can still choose an Advanced template allowing you to choose each individual skill on your own, and make your own way.
- New Players have a maximum of 700 skill points available, and a skill cap of 100 skill points. This can be increased through the Skill Mastery system.
